Fostering Faithfully Volunteer Says Yes to Forever: National Adoption Month!

When we began Fostering Faithfully, one of our dreams was to provide tangible ways to connect the community to kids in foster care. We truly believe that once they saw their faces and knew kids in care, they’d take next steps.

In 2021, we saw this in action in an adorable little boy’s story.

G began in one foster home in our county as a newborn, then when he needed long term placement another family we serve was ready to foster him long term. During their placement, ”J,” a faithful volunteer with us began spend time with little G at training events and date nights. J and the foster family forged a bond , and J began to do respite care for the foster family. It didn’t take long for her entire family to realize that if he ever needed a forever home, they wanted to be IT! Years later, we celebrated this homecoming with all his 3 “Mamas” at his 3rd Birthday! Where there is great love, there are always miracles. Foster families get a front row seat to some of them!

This past year his foster mother and his adoptive mother shared these beautiful adoption day pictures. We could not be more thankful for this family’s steps of bravery!
