Faith Over Fear

Many people ask me how I can do foster care and if God gives me peace in all these horribly difficult and emotional situations I have walked through with many children in foster care. I can honestly say that God doesn’t always give me peace. But, he does give me courage. Sometimes you won’t feel the peace you need before you step out in faith. What if God is waiting on you to be obedient and trust him first? I can assure you He will be the most faithful. He will bring the courage. He will strengthen you when you are weak. On our worst day as foster parents, it does not compare to what these kids have experienced and the losses they will feel for life.
