Jordans take a new foster child places!

Today I looked at our nine-year-old’s shoes and thought I would send y’all a picture. We signed him up for Fostering Faithfully’s back to school shoes last summer and he asked for Jordans. He was so excited to receive these fancy red shoes. It was his first year in a new school, and in PE class, the kids were challenged to see how many miles they could run. All those little plastic feet on his laces represent multiple miles.

He ran a total of 53 miles throughout the year, winning first place in his class by just one mile. This child is extremely active and competitive and hardly ever stops moving, so these shoes were just perfect for him and carried him through a great year of growth and accomplishment. He is just about to outgrow them, so he’s going to wear them to summer camp and sometime after he gets home we will go shopping for new ones. Just wanted to let y’all know that these are some well-loved shoes that brought comfort, happiness, confidence, and a little extra agility to our foster son. Thank you!!!
