Oconee Foster Mom Shares About Stretching Her Limits to Accept Two Sisters

New placements are always hard. I don't think you can bring strangers into your home at midnight without a few challenges. I've heard all the excuses to not foster and have said most of them. I may have said the Q word this weekend while I was agonizing over whether to accept this placement or not. I was terrified to say yes and heartbroken to say no. This picture reminds me that it's not about me at all. It's about the two little girls who have been way too ok the past few days until a sibling squabble brought them to tears. I can handle a few challenges if it means that my Mercy Watson bedtime story can stop those tears when I don't know what to say.
